i'm broke with too many bills.
03.22.2006 | 12:06 pm yesterday was my birthday. i'm LEGALLY an adult. :) i don't feel older or wiser or anything, just annoyed that i have to remember i'm 18 now, not 17. i had just gotten used to that. i had a doctor's appointment too. bummer x's a lot. i have to try to maintain a healthy diet & check my blood sugar FOUR times a day. an hour after every meal & once before bed. i hate pricking my finger. i'm not happy about this, no, but it's not for me. i have to put my silly needle fears aside. & learn not to fall asleep after i eat. oops! mummy bought me a carrot cake. i like carrot cake. i would have liked a crazy chocolate cake, but carrot is probably healthier, anyway. she also gave me $100.00 to do with as i please. i think i'm going to buy a comforter set for our bed with it. i've been wanting one for a long time, but didn't want jesse to have to buy it. maybe some baby clothes & stuff, too. my grandma gave me a pink robe thing to wear to the hospital. i appreciate that. i haven't thought to get anything or prepare, so hopefully labor is a LONG ways off. jesse had already given me my presents, but brought in a card with 'HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY' written on it & a sweet little personal message inside. he also gave me cinnamon breath mints - i'm assuming because cinnamon helps my nausea - not because i have bad breath. ha. he also ordered a pizza for me, so i kind of pigged out on pizza & cinnamon sticks. thank you, sunshine. my daddy didn't get me anything ... or really wish me a happy birthday. oh well. i STILL have to keep a record of what i eat, but now it has to be moe detailed. poopie. i have to add serving sizes & silly things like that. i don't want to do that because since i was in elementary school, i've had a huge problem with measurements & estimating how much is ... oh let's say a cup. at least i don't have to do it in the metric system! i've been thinking about adding an exra page on here of things i need to get rid of. books, dvds, video casettes, clothes, toys, etc ... for people to buy. i probably couldn't post a picture, because i lost my camera during the move, but i could give a valid description. i just have A LOT of stuff in the way that i don't need. i would have a rummage sale, but it's: i have a practically brand new velvet cushioned butterfly chair we paid $75 for & i won't let it go for less than $50. my friend, nickie, wants it, but i doubt she'll come through with the money. i don't know about S&H, though. the bigger stuff would cost quite a bundle, i'm sure. anyway, i have other unimportant things to do, but if you're interested in any items i mentioned or think you would be interested in items i didn't mention - leave a note or sign the guestbook. i'll make a list of things & describe them, soon. |
